.abeceda Contemporary Music Festival

The third .abeceda Contemporary Music Festival, organized by the .abeceda Institute, will take place in Bled from June 24th to June 28th, 2024. The festival programme is shaped by the works and ideas of its featured composers, offering the latest production in the field of contemporary music. With numerous participating artists arriving from countries across four continents this year, the festival represents a space for intercultural exchange and an opportunity to establish lasting international collaborations. 

 

This year's festival features fifteen concerts spread throughout the week. The core of the daily program consists of two morning and an evening concert where members of the .abeceda [new music ensemble] will perform works by resident and guest composers. Additionally, selected compositions from the precept.concept.percept workshop and the .abeceda Institute programs, such as Young Researchers, Studio 8.1 and .paradigma, will be presented. The festival program also features lectures, pre-concert discussions, a developmental project [residency], and five morning concerts for children.

Weekly festival ticket: 80 EUR

 

Daily ticket: 20 EUR (includes entry to morning and evening concerts, as well as lectures and pre-concert talks)
